Design & construction
Red flowers on a sheer ground
Red floral motifs stand out against the lighter sheer mesh of the cups. The embroidery follows the curved upper edges, while fine red binding continues around the lower panels and separates the floral areas from the open strap sections. Richly detailed embroidery brings texture and definition to the pattern.
Shown in Red.
Fine lines above the lower panel
Several narrow red straps cross above the lower front, echoing the color of the embroidery without covering the open spaces. The full view shows the contrast between the concentrated floral panels and the long, uninterrupted lines of the straps.
